| Abstract |
This document summarizes an interrogation of Julius Streicher, in which the witness emphasizes his retirement from Nazi Party affairs in February 1940, and his concomitant lack of knowledge of Nazi atrocities committed against the Jews. He claims to have arranged for the release of "thirty or more people" from concentration camps each year for "three or more years," always "about Christmas time" and "always [concerning] political prisoners." It is apparent that Streicher is trying to disassociate himself with the internment and murder of European Jewry. This document is a typewritten copy on generally stable paper. |
