| Abstract |
This document is marked "Urgent" and quotes an order from the Chief of Security Police. The order directs State and Criminal Police to wear civilian clothes as they act during the demonstrations to "prevent the permissible destruction of Jewish shops and homes from extending into looting." The order also states that the prisoners (presumably Jews, although the document is not specific) will be "lodged only in the jail-space at present available in all police districts." This document is a copy, re-typed on thin but stable paper. |
