Re: e-Mail Project & Issue #17

1. Because so many of the e-mail addresses initially provided to me were either incorrect or are no longer correct, would you please do the following: SEND AN E-MAIL TO ME, CONTAINING ONLY THE FOLLOWING IN THE SUBJECT LINE AUN DECADE E-MAIL PROJECT@.

SEND THIS MSG TO: slomansonb@worldnet.att.net, bills@tjsl.edu. I will administer this project from one e-mail address, and archive messages (for some period of time) from the other e-mail address.

No message is needed (unless you have a question). I=m using this device to ascertain the latest e-mail addresses for as many UN Decade members as possible. Then, I will be able to build an Address Book of all participating members--which I will forward to each of you in the first official e-mail msg which will Akick off@ this project. Thanks for your patience.

2. Because we have shifted to an electronic format for our Newsletter, it will not only be less expensive to publish our newsletters, but I can prepare them more frequently. (Good newsBno dues increases for a while!) Thus, Issue #17 (Sept. >98) has just been sent to the webmaster and should be online within a week or so. The URL is: ../asil/asil.htm.

It is my fondest hope that, upon establishing the e-mail project, I will no longer have to send print copies of our Newsletter to the membership. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET, THEN LET ME KNOW, SO THAT I CAN SEND YOU A PRINT COPY. Please use this alternative, only if it is really difficult for you to access the Internet. One objective is to save time and money in publishing our Newsletter at the turn of the millenniumBwhen we change out name to AUN 21".

Regards,

Bill
