Contents: A single-page, 157K list of addresses and telephone and fax numbers of 270 Canadian federal departments and agencies. The listings for some departments provide additional phone numbers for their publications units and libraries, URLs for Internet sites, and e-mail addresses, as well as links within the list to sub-agencies. Because the Directory is not subdivided by subject or category, although the user can select the letter of the alphabet, it may be necessary to browse the entire list in order to locate a pertinent agency: e.g. agencies handling Native American affairs may be under "Indian" or "Aboriginal". Furthermore, many departments and agencies are listed under "Canadian". Although this site is not as useful as it might have been, it is nonetheless a comprehensive ready-reference source.
