Contents: The Office of International Criminal Justice at the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle has made the newsletters it publishes available on the Web. These periodicals, not owned by Cornell, include "CJ International," "CJ Europe," "CJ the Americas," "Criminal Organizations" (published by the International Association for the Study of Organized Crime), "CJ Farrago," which contains articles on various topics, notably profiling criminal behavior, and "The Keeper's Voice," the newsletter of the International Association of Correctional Officers (most of the latter deals with the United States, but each issue has an international section). Issues posted date from about 1995 on. Not all articles are actually available online, but all the publications are searchable by keyword. The Office also sponsors international conferences and forums for specialists in the area of criminal justice. There are links to announcements of these conferences, as well as opportunities for study abroad. |
