Note: comprehensive data on the 1992-1996 and 1996-2000 Parliaments, as well as election returns and a good deal of other information, is only available on the Lithuanian version of the website. The English version includes the text of the Lithuanian constitution and laws from 1886 on (how comprehensive the statutory section actually is, this reviewer could not determine). The laws are available in English, Lithuanian, or Russian, and include codes, decrees, draft documents, resolutions and many other types of statutory materials from the Parliamentary Record and the Official Gazette (Valstybes Zinios). Searching is possible by keyword, year, and document number. The English version also contains the President's webpage, which provides his biography, a list of his advisors and the text of his lengthy annual report for 1996, and links to the Baltic Assembly (with recent reports), the East-West Parliamentary Practice Project, the European Parliaments Research Initiative, and the European Parliament. A valuable website for researchers with a knowledge of Lithuanian.
