Contents: If you have a suspicion that all is not well with the federal courts (or just need your blood pressure raised), this site is for you. Punch and Jurists is an iconoclastic newsletter published by a coalition of legal watchdogs on federal criminal law. For a fee, members have access to the full text of the newsletter, which summarizes the facts of outrageous decisions and preposterous actions of judges and attorneys in federal cases, and to the text of unpublished decisions, briefs, and motions submitted by subscribers pertaining to current controversial cases. There are also links to key websites and research tools. Cases are drawn from the Federal Reporter and Federal Supplement, with additional decisions archived. The editors also survey circuit court decisions regarding pre-trial motions, criminal procedure, the Federal Rules of Evidence, sentencing, gun and drug laws, and white collar crime. Non-subscriber visitors can view an abridged version of the newsletter. Punch and Jurists is also available in a print version.
