Contents: Under the direction of Prof. Bernard Hibbitts of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, "Jurist" is a compendium of websites, home pages, and Internet links for professors working in the Anglo-American tradition. Professors from Pitt and elsewhere contribute websites for law courses, texts of examinations and conference papers, and pre-prints of law journal articles. A reference-desk section has links to several legal research sites including LEXIS and WESTLAW, Findlaw, and Cornell University's well-regarded Legal Information Institute. A subject guide orients the user, and there is a search capability. Other features include academic website of the week, directories of law teachers in the Anglo-American world, announcements of conferences and positions available. "Jurist Worldwide" has a small number of homepages for European and Asian faculty; "Faculty Lounge" is a library of legal and general interest newspapers and links to news resources (e.g. CNN). Law professors will appreciate "Jurist."
