Contents: The Supreme Court of Canada maintains a bilingual (French and English) web site with a great deal of useful information. Of primary interest is the availability, from 1989 onward, of judgments published in the Supreme Court Reports. These are organized by volume and year, and are searchable by various fields (parties, judges, statutes cited, etc.). Decisions of the Court relative to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms are also supplied for 1983-1995. In addition, the site features an archive of notices to the profession, press releases, and the Bulletin of Proceedings, as well as a schedule of hearings, court statistics, court rules, and the Supreme Court Act. An informational section details the history of the court, its administration, and provides biographies of current judges. Listservs are available for the Court's professional notices, press releases, and recent judgments. A well-organized and useful site.
