Contents: The Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law (The Institute) is a research institute that promotes the international exchange of information in the fields of intellectual and industrial property law, including copyright protection. The Institute's web site facilitates this exchange among scholars through online publications, external links to legal newsgroups, international organizations, universities, and the European Union. Bibliographic records (in German) of the Institute's library holdings, which exceed 240,000 volumes, are also accessible through the site. The Institute publishes three subscription-based periodicals: two monthly German-language publications and a bimonthly English-language publication. In addition, the Institute provides full-text online publications written by members and non-members of the Institute. Contact information is provided inviting individuals to share relevant intellectual property links worldwide. This site is well maintained, easy to use, and the updates appear fairly frequently; web pages are available in both English and German. |
