Contents: Formed in January 1994, Electronic Frontiers Australia Inc. (EFA) is a non-profit national organization formed to advocate the amendment of laws and regulations in Australia and elsewhere which restrict free speech and access to information for users and operators of computer-based communications systems. The EFA web site offers full-text legislative documents, such as acts, reports, reviews, and inquiries. These documents include issues of censorship, content regulation, consumer protection, spamming, and privacy. The web site also contains Codes of Practice for online service providers and individuals within the Internet industry. Other items of interest include campaign documents, such as media releases, articles, and other studies. Cryptography issues and content-rating proposals are also found on the EFA site. General EFA information is available through news releases, meeting information, and the Association's newsletter, which is presented in full text from January 1995. EFA also offers an e-mail announcement service.
