Contents: The Mining Laws of Asian Countries (MLAC) web site, maintained by the Metal Mining Agency of Japan, offers full-text versions (in English) of major mining legislation in each of 13 Asian countries including China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The web site provides links to online services which include resources such as mining laws of Asian countries, Japanese mineral statistics, and mineral resource maps of Asia. A comparative table of mining law and policy by each Asian country is available. MLAC also offers information on mining seminars and workshops. |
