Contents: The long-awaited web site for the Supreme Court of the United States has been unveiled. It provides a plethora of information about and from the Court that will be useful to a wide and disparate audience, including students, teachers, librarians, attorneys, and the press. In addition to providing an extensive history of the court and its functions, the site provides visitors’ information, the Court’s schedule and calendar, the form and instructions to make an application for admission to the Supreme Court Bar, the most recent court rules, case filing guides, speeches, and press releases from the Court. Not only does the site provide slip opinions and access to bench opinions of the Court, but it also describes in extensive detail the process of opinion publication, and where to locate official opinions. In keeping with the elegant design of the site, many documents are available in PDF format only. Some sections have not yet been implemented, such as the docketing calendar, but this does not distract from the fact that the web site for the Supreme Court of the United States is one of the most polished and useful court sites available today.
