Contents: Jurisweb.com is an ambitious Spanish-language commercial portal published by a company based in Madrid. It aims to provide access to all forms of and venues for Spanish legal information on the World Wide Web. It offers links to Spanish legislation and caselaw, a directory of contact information for attorneys from Spain and around the world, an active forum where visitors and subscribers may discuss legal issues, and links to official European Union bulletins. The site also publishes its own current-awareness newsletter to which visitors may subscribe. Jurisweb.com’s easy-to-use search engine allows users to search the entire site as well as individual sections. Although billing itself as a free service, one of the site’s most prominent links takes the visitor to a fee-based database of company information. In addition, many important links were broken when the site was visited for review.
