Contents: The European Judicial Network (EJN) was formed in 1998 to improve the standards of co-operation in criminal matters between the judicial authorities of European Union member states. The EJN website was created as a practical tool to disseminate legal instruments applicable to the European Union. These instruments have been adopted by the European Council, as well as other fora such as the United Nations, the Council of Europe, and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This site is a good research tool for those looking for protocols, agreements, and reports of the European Union and the Council of Europe pertaining to criminal law. There are also many joint position papers, resolutions, joint actions, recommendations, and conventions and agreements available here. The site is available in French and English, and offers a simple search engine.
