Contents: The Institute for Spam and Internet Public Policy (ISIPP) is dedicated to providing analysis, information, and consulting on industry issues relating to public policies and processes regarding spam, email, and the Internet. As part of their service to the Internet community, the Institute provides the ISIPP Accreditation Database ("IADB"), a DNS list of the domains and/or IP addresses of approved senders intended for use by e-mail receivers (ISPs and spam filters). The ISIPP also hosts the E-mail Deliverability Database ("EDDB"), which aims to facilitate communications between sending and receiving systems regarding email transmission by listing legitimate contact information for bulk mailers. The Institute’s webpage describes new proposed industry standards and policies for e-mail receiving and sending organizations. Researchers will be interested in the ISIPP’s library of reports and white papers. This site is primarily aimed at Internet professionals, and not the general public.
